Our name derives from the Old Italian word “paragone,” meaning “touchstone,” which symbolizes our commitment to providing a standard against which our work can be judged.

Headed by husband and wife team, Jose and Bev Da Costa, ParaGone brings together a wealth of experience and expertise in the industry. With Jose’s extensive industry knowledge gained since 1998, we have established ourselves as trusted KZN service providers who consistently deliver exceptional results. Bev’s unwavering dedication to customer experience and service ensures that we meet and exceed our clients’ expectations.

Wiseman Gcina, with a distinguished career spanning over two decades in the ceilings and partitioning industry, is a seasoned professional renowned for his wealth of expertise. Throughout his time at ParaGone, he has successfully managed numerous large-scale projects while maintaining an unwavering commitment to handling smaller assignments with equal diligence.

 His dedicated team consistently strives to deliver the highest quality service, ensuring that clients’ requirements are met with precision and professionalism.

Beyond work, Wiseman enjoys sports and cherishes time with his family, especially his new baby!  In his rare moments of downtime, he enjoys relaxing, recharging his energy for future achievements.

"Wow, I have to say you don’t get service like this very often. I phoned PG Ceilings to come and give me a quote for a dry wall that I needed urgently installed in my Cottage. The previous tenant was moving out on the Friday and the new tenant was moving in on the Monday. Time was not on my side! When I phoned and chatted to Carl it was no hassle, even though I felt it was a small job he took as much pride in helping assist me. He arrived that afternoon to have a look, measure and give sound advice.
